David Stephenson is an Independent Consultant with extensive experience in water resources assessment, hydrology, and the planning and design of water infrastructure. He has published 15 books on water supply and management and sits on 9 journal editorial panels, reflecting a deep commitment to advancing knowledge across the sector.

David has served as the project leader for major water transfer scheme studies and acts as an expert adviser to the World Bank, supporting water infrastructure programmes across the sector.
