Ignacio Rodriguez is the Co-Founder and General Manager of DESALA, with over 18 years of experience developing renewable energy and non-conventional water projects. He pioneered a multipurpose desalination model that combines customised tariff structures aligned with water productivity across copper mining, irrigation, human consumption, green hydrogen, lithium extraction, and algae production.

Ignacio's work leverages economies of scale to expand access to desalinated water across high-impact sectors, including minerals for energy transition, food security, and human consumption.
